AutoRefresh runs auto-refresh and page-monitoring locally in your browser. We do not collect page content, browsing history, or your personal identity.
The page monitor reads the visible text of the page on your device to look for the keyword you set. That text is never transmitted to us. We do not record your browsing history, the sites you visit, your keystrokes, or any page content.
To verify your Pro entitlement, a random anonymous install identifier (a UUID generated in your browser) is sent to our backend (autorefresh-backend.vercel.app). If you choose to sign in to sync Pro across devices, your email address is used solely to send a one-time sign-in code and to manage your device list. We never sell or share this data.
Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your card details. Stripe's handling of your payment information is governed by Stripe's own privacy policy.
We process anonymous usage events (install, active, upgrade, purchase) via our analytics provider PostHog (EU region, Frankfurt) to measure product usage and reliability. These events are keyed to a random per-install identifier — no email, no page content, no browsing history, and no personal identity is collected.
You can stop all activity by disabling or removing the extension at any time. Removing it deletes its local data. To delete your account data, email us.
